During my initial brainstorming for this project I instantly knew that I wanted to work with illustrator Richard A. Chance. His work is so imaginative and with a topic like the Metaverse I knew he would crush this and take the direction I gave him and deliver far beyond our expectations which he definitely did. I had been following R.F. Alvarez on Instagram for a while and knew that his illustrative style could really lend itself to Tribeza's recurring column by Kristen Armstrong. As an avid reader of The Smudge I was familiar with Liana Jegers work. When it came time to commission a custom illustration for Kristen's Column about TK I knew Liana was the person to reach out to.
